About the finish:
A Dr. Seuss inspired logo designed for a breast cancer benefit bike team. 

I was asked to come up with a playful design for the team’s name, the only caveat being that it absolutely must include breasts somewhere in the design. Incorporating the breast shapes into the “j” and “g” was on of the first ideas settled upon by the client and I.

From there the overall theme needed to be developed. The “thing” part of the title instantly made me think of Thing 1 and 2 from the Dr. Seuss classic, The Cat in the Hat, which inspired the hands on the bottom of the illustration. From there the background design evolved into a fishbowl, (a popular visual from the children’s book) and was later joined by the bike riding fish mascot.
