Sinking Ship Creations: Game Logos
I designed the following logos while in the employ of Sinking Ship Creations, a New York City based LARP production company. Logos were used on all promotional materials in connection to each of these events, as well as an instructional source-book (which I also designed) for the game Scapegoat.
SCAPEGOAT:
The logo design was largely inspired by cyberpunk/cybernoir culture (Blade Runner, Dark City, ect.). The point is to give a sleek yet gritty/industrial feel. The standout of the logo is the treatment of the “e”, perfectly centered and turned into a goat head, which has come to be the standalone logo for the game.
XENOPHON:
The logo design was heavily inspired by the look and feel of cyberpunk/neo-noir aestetic from works such as Blade Runner and Dark City. It is set in the same universe as Sinking Ship Creations flagship game “Project Ascension”, is something of a sequel, and utilizes the same font from the parent game (though treated stylistically different for this games unique flavor).
PANDAEMONIUM:
Logo created and designed for an upcoming horror themed LARP, the latest gaming experience brought together by 8 of the leading Interactive Game houses in the United States.

MORTALITY MACHINE:

PHANTOMS OF OLD NEW YORK:
The logo design was largely inspired by the art deco style of the 1920s, popularized by novels such as The Great Gatsby. The design incorporates several graphical elements symbolic of different time periods/cultural events in New York City’s past, including the Arch at Washington Square Park, the Lamda of the 1969 LGBT rights movement, the Triboro Bridge, Yankees/Mets symbol, the torch of the Statue of Liberty and the Power Fist of the black panther movement.
